Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to animals, working closely with veterinarians to perform a variety of clinical tasks and ensure the well-being of our furry patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Collect samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for analysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Prepare animals for surgery by sterilizing surgical instruments and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor animals undergoing treatment and report any changes in condition.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Handle and care for animals with empathy and professional care.
Requirements for the Role:
- Diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both animals and pet owners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
