🐾We’re Hiring: Hospital Veterinarian | Dubai🐾
Modern Vet is looking for a dedicated and experiencedHospital Veterinarian to join our growing team in Dubai.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily hospital care and physically examine hospitalized patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly notify the Vet in charge of any changes.
- Conduct daily hospital rounds and ensure effective handovers.
- Maintain accurate hospital notes, patient charts, and records in EzyVet.
- Check IV cannulas and replace them when required.
- Check and replace bandages as needed.
- Verify medication doses, frequency, and duration.
- Ensure patients are clinically stable and all necessary care is completed before discharge.
- Double check hospital charges and ensure all required services are accurately billed.
- Communicate veterinary instructions clearly to nurses, reception, and other team members.
- Document and report major clinical events to the Vet in charge.
- Organize and allocate nursing duties when required.
- Support medication dispensing and double-check correct dosage, timing, frequency, and instructions.
- Maintain effective communication between the Case Owner (Vet), nurses, reception, and clients.
- Ensure important client communications that may affect the medical plan are properly documented and communicated to the relevant team.
- Manage hospital cases and support effective handovers during rounds.
- Assist the team during busy periods, including medication administration, billing, cage cleaning, litter changes, and other hospital duties.
- Support the care and monitoring of surgical patients admitted to the hospital.
🐾 Requirements
- Valid MOCCAE Veterinary License is mandatory.
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inpatient care and patient monitoring.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment.
- Willingness to actively support the nursing and hospital team when required.

- Additional certifications in anesthesia, dentistry, or diagnostic imaging.
- Experience working in a busy veterinary hospital.
- Knowledge of advanced animal care and inpatient management techniques.
